How to Use This Calculator
Enter the additional labour, materials, plant, sub-subcontract and specific preliminaries costs. Use only the additions supported by the agreed pricing basis. Check how each percentage is applied: this tool adds overhead to direct cost, profit after overhead and risk after profit.
Worked Example
For example, £1,000 labour, £500 materials, £200 plant and £100 preliminaries total £1,800 of direct cost. A 10% overhead addition and then 5% profit produce £2,079 before VAT, with no risk addition.
Before You Use the Result
Keep the instruction, scope change, quantities and rate records beside the price. The tool’s percentage sequence is a build-up method; it does not replace the valuation rules in the applicable contract.
