How to Use This Calculator
Enter the delay duration and the weekly costs that are genuinely time-related. Add one-off delay costs separately, deduct mitigation credits and use the overhead and profit percentage appropriate to the proposed build-up. Keep each cost linked to the event and the period claimed.
Worked Example
Two weeks at £1,000 management and £200 welfare per week give £2,400. Adding £100 of one-off cost and deducting £50 of credits produces £2,450 before overhead and profit. A 10% addition gives £2,695.
Before You Use the Result
A time-related cost calculation does not prove responsibility for delay or entitlement to recovery. Retain the programme, chronology, invoices and records needed to explain why the cost arose.
